RYAN AND DANIELLE’S INTIMATE BOHO ELOPEMENT IN BOONE, NC

Tucked away in the mountains of Boone, North Carolina, is the cutest A-frame cabin. With the exterior appearing rustic and modern all at once, it’s the perfect location for a romantic getaway. Or in this case, a stress-free elopement. The back deck immerses you into nature by surrounding you with trees, hills, and a trickling stream. If you like being surrounded by nature and boho vibes, you will love this intimate boho Boone elopement. And instead of one magical day, staying in the cabin gave them a whole weekend to enjoy themselves.

Getting Ready For An Intimate Cabin Elopement

When you aren’t stressed about logistics or catering to a crowd of people, getting ready for your wedding day is simple. Ryan and Danielle didn’t need a big production to exchange their vows. Instead, they opted to keep things minimal. They saved a lot of money on picking the important things, and leaving behind the aspects they didn’t need.

Danielle had her hair and makeup done right at the cabin by North Carolina’s Kris Bright Beauty. Kris turned Danielle’s hair into a boho dream with a big chunky braid sweeping across one side of her head and a dark brown smokey eye. Without a bridal party, Ryan and Danielle helped each other into their wedding attire. Helping each other get ready was a very intimate and loving experience. All the emotions and nerves coursing through them were calmed. This was the moment that confirmed that the rest of the day would be perfect.

The Boho Details

Danielle picked out the perfect vendors to complete her boho vision. In addition to her hair and makeup artist, she hired a florist for her dreamy bouquet, the coolest baker for the cake, and a Flutter Dress (or 2) for her gown. For dinner, we all went out to a local restaurant to celebrate!

When you don’t need 5 bouquets, boutonnières, table pieces, etc, you can really go all out on your few floral pieces. And of course, that’s just what Danielle did. Caswell Flower Co totally killed this vibrant boho bouquet. We completely fell in love with the rosy colors and dramatic pops of pampas grass.

Pampas grass is also seen as a flourish on their earthy, boho cake! We knew Creamed, The Confectionary was the perfect baker for their cake. All of their desserts and cakes scream rustic artsy vibes while looking absolutely delicious of course. Even though the company is based a few hours away in Winston-Salem, we brought the cake with us to Boone!

All in all, getting ready and setting up their details was a breeze and their day was absolutely magical.
