A LUXURY WEDDING AT THE MERRIMON-WYNNE HOUSE RALEIGH WEDDING VENUE

Alex and Scott had the most romantic wedding at The Merrimon-Wynne House. This Raleigh wedding venue is absolutely gorgeous. It was built in 1876, with so much charm and historic character behind it. The architecture of this building is beautiful, which is why Alex and Scott fell in love with it in the first place. This couple are architect’s themselves, and first met at a summer architect program! Alex and Scott had family traveling down for their wedding, so they wanted to give them a good southern experience from the architecture to the food, and they did just that!

Alex & Scott’s Luxury Wedding at The Merrimon-Wynne House

It was storming on their wedding day, so everything pre-ceremony and the ceremony itself had to be done inside. But that’s the beauty of this venue, there is a gorgeous indoor rain plan! Aside from how gorgeous this Raleigh venue is, something else that I loved was just how authentic Alex and Scott were. They were completely themselves. Dorky, silly, and most importantly, kind! They’ve been together for ten years, and you can feel the love between them just in the way they look at one another. Alex also wore the most stunning wedding dress, and truly looked like a dream bride!

The florals and the table décor were beautiful, yet not overly distracting. Their reception had a calm, southern, and elegant vibe. And their dessert table was so much fun! In addition to Alex’s mom’s homemade cookies, there were a few other treats surrounding the Harry Potter groom’s cake. I love when couples incorporate little things into their wedding that showcase what they love. Overall, everything about this wedding day was perfect. Their family had so much fun celebrating Alex and Scott, and I know this is a day they will never forget themselves!
