McKenna had beautiful outdoor bridal portraits at The Little Chapel in Winston-Salem, NC. This venue is so charming! It sits on 54 acres that are surrounded by lakeside meadows, and we were blessed with a dreamy sunset for this session as well! In addition to having an incredibly charming cottage feel, this property was built using 500 year old English brick! It made for the most stunning backdrop for McKenna’s bridal portraits! It is a truly special venue that has hosted many beautiful weddings, elopements, and proposals with its historic charm and picturesque setting. It’s no wonder why McKenna chose this venue for her bridal portraits, and I’m so honored she chose me as her Winston-Salem photographer!

McKenna got her stunniung dress from New York Bride & Groom of Raleigh. Her favorite details of her wedding dress were the low back and the beading, so I really wanted to pay extra attention to those parts of her dress. I absolutely loved everything about the dress; the lace, neckline, the little sheer cutouts, and the mermaid/trumpet flair. This dress is honestly a dream wedding dress, and McKenna was GORGEOUS in it!
McKenna rocked this entire bridal session! I extra love the photos of her in the yellow flower patches, the close ups with her eyes closed and the charming chapel in the background, as well as the black and white photos of of her tossing her dress around! Posing my bridal clients for their portraits is always so much fun, and I love when my clients get to have extra time to really soak in and enjoy being all dolled up in their wedding attire! Who doesnt need extra time to just feel beautiful?! Plus, it gives you an excuse to wear you wedding dress even longer! 😉
