Liz and Jared were such a fun couple to photograph and I absolutely adore them! They were like a breath of fresh air. They came all the way to Winston Salem in North Carolina from Chicago for their downtown engagement photos session! These two will be coming back in the fall for their wedding as well which will actually be on their original anniversary date, and I’m so excited! Liz and Jared are full of so much life and sweetness. I just know their wedding is going to be magical.

Liz & Jared’s Fun Downtown Engagement Photos Winston Salem in North Carolina

Liz and Jared first met at SIUC while both studying engineering. They lived in the same dorm and would see each other often in passing. They finally worked up some courage to spend some time alone by their campus lake one night and ended up talking until the early morning hours! Since then, they’ve been attached at the hip! Some of their favorite things to do together are playing and listening to music, learning, cooking and eating yummy food, and exploring!

Now here we are, capturing their sweet downtown engagement photos! I loved the warmth of their outfits, they looked and felt so cozy! Their outfits were so perfect for a winter engagement session. Here in North Carolina, you can never predict the weather, (freezing, warm, cool, who knows?!) I also loved her attention to detail in having her nails done, they looked so nice and really popped throughout their session. They also matched her shoes and I love how it just tied it all together! It makes me excited to see how her attention to detail comes to play in their upcoming fall wedding because I can already tell she has great taste!
