The Little Chapel in Winston-Salem, NC
The Little Chapel is a beautiful wedding and event venue located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. With its several acres of gorgeous land it also makes for the perfect place to take loving, carefree family portraits. The property gets stunning sunsets year round and has endless spots to take dreamy photos. The venue is private property so it does require us to get permission and schedule sessions, but this means we won’t be competing to take your photos with other people or photographers.

When the sun, location, and outfits all come together perfectly we get pure GOLD. I nearly drooled when this family got out of their car, I love a warm tone color palette for outfits! This wasn’t the first time I’ve photographed Lauren and her family so I knew they would be dressed to impress. Which is great for show stopping photos, I am all about going big or going home when it comes to your cherished photos.
One big secret to getting such carefree, natural feeling family photos is to let the littles have fun! (And make sure their bellies are fed and happy!) We love to explore and run around a bit to help kids expend energy and get those perfectly playful photos. You’ll see some of the ways we did that for this session below!
