Karley and Ethan are so full of love for each other, it’s contagious! With only three months until their wedding day, we got together on a chilly winter day to take their engagement photos. Even with the wind keeping us cold, you can clearly see their happiness shine throughout their downtown Winston-Salem engagement session.
Karley never imagined how life changing getting a job at Chick Fil A would be. And boy is she so thankful her parents pushed her to do so! You see, these two met and fell in love while working at the, might a say delicious, fast food chain. Not long after meeting Ethan, Karley confided in her friend that whoever gets to marry Ethan one day is the luckiest girl out there. Funny how these things turn out isn’t it?
Ethan knew Karley was the one for him early on. Before they started dating, he already knew she had all the qualities he was looking for. From the very beginning, Ethan was always meaningful and intentional with his actions, and Karley noticed.
After some location brainstorming, we decided to go with an urban city setting for Karley and Ethan’s engagement session. We knew we wanted to get those adorable photos of them strolling down the street as well as a spot with a view. Winston-Salem has several pretty locations for photos, as well as parking garages with awesome views of the city. So the choice was easy!
On the day of their session, I got so excited when I saw their outfits! Karley wore the cutest daisy print black skirt with a white button up sweater, and then topped it off with white converse. Ethan wore all black with a stylish denim jacket. Before going up to the parking deck we started out on the city streets. And let me tell you, we were freezing our butts off! But it was totally worth it and we had lots of fun. The wind created a lot of fun hair movement too!
It got a lot less chilly when we made our way up the parking deck. This was probably where the most fun came out! Without having cars driving by or other people walking around to worry about, we really got to let loose. Not only that, but we had a gorgeous golden hour to end the session.
