BOHO PHOENIX BRIDAL SESSION IN ARIZONA
I don’t always get up before the sun for photos. But when I do, it’s as epic and stunning as this boho Phoenix bridal session. There are just some locations that require you to be up with sun if you want to find parking (or anywhere to take photos.) Papago Park, where this bridal session was, is one of those places. Only 10 minutes from downtown Phoenix and the Scottsdale Arizona area, this park is super popular. There’s no long drive or harsh hike to get to the gorgeous shots. Total bonus points!
Bridal Session Tips
If you want to have an amazing bridal session experience, your dress will probably need to be cleaned before the big day. And that is totally okay! This session is to help you truly feel like a bride and get some amazing shots that you won’t be able to on your wedding day. To minimize the mess on your dress and also get the most out of your photos:
- Always pick up your dress when walking.
- Try not to swish it around in the dirt too much (make sure your dress is lifting off the ground!)
- Find the driest/cleanest spots to shoot in.
- Show off those details!
- Laugh, smile, and have fun!
In addition to these tips, I also always recommend for brides to get their hair and make up professionally done. This goes a long way in your portraits and is a great time to test out your HMUA. Also don’t forget to make sure your nails are cleaned up or freshly painted! Nails can have a huge positive or negative impact, especially if they look messy.
