If you can’t decide between a modern studio session or romantic outdoor photos for your maternity session, you don’t have to! When clients come to me and want both vibes, I make both happen. Depending on the studio vibes and props you want, there are multiple studios to choose from. For this session, we chose a beautiful outdoor venue that I love to photograph at that also has a small studio space right next to the property. We were able to park at the studio and then walk right out onto the field. It seriously doesn’t get more convenient than that.
It may feel like a hefty decision to do both but it can totally be worth it! You aren’t pregnant forever and you deserve to cherish these moments forever. If you find yourself dreaming about both of these drastically different vibes, we can bring them to life together. One of the best things about having a dual location session is the endless variety of photos and poses. And having variety also gives you more options to display your photos. Imagine having a dramatic modern portrait with your bump for your bedroom but a whimsical grassy photo for your living room. It’s really the best of both worlds and gets the most out of our time together.
In 2019 I photographed Chelsie and Chad’s wedding day so when Chelsie told me last year that they were expecting, I was beyond thrilled for them! Almost immediately, Chelsie knew she wanted to book my Mama Package which included announcement photos, the maternity session, and an in-home newborn session. While we were planning their maternity session, Chelsie asked if there was a way we could do some shots with a studio vibe and the rest in an outdoorsy vibe. She sent me a few inspo photos and I remembered seeing one of my favorite venues announce their studio space. It was perfect! Together with The Little Chapel, we worked out a session where we would start at the studio next door and finish up on the main property. So continue on to take a look at the photos!
