WINSTON-SALEM ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Macey and Tyler had such a fun, wild, and care free engagement session in Winston-Salem, North Carolina! We planned their session for when they were in town knowing that the weather could be cold and chilly or warm and sunny. It ended up being more on the cozy and chilly side. They wore the perfect casual outfits for running around the fields in! Macey and Tyler first met in eighth grade, and reconnected years later and started chatting on social media. Together they love spending time with their dog, and checking out new coffee shops in NYC where they are now living together! Being their North Carolina photographer for not just their engagement session, but their upcoming wedding is such an honor!

Macey & Tyler’s Fun Winston-Salem Engagement Session

Can you believe these two were worried about their awkwardness? They really leaned into it and let themselves feel free and laugh a ton. We tried some fun and silly things just for giggles, and we ended up getting a lot of fun photos and MEMORIES from it! My best tip for couples taking photos is to come into the session eager to build our friendship and not so much of a focus on being in front of the camera. It understandably makes a lot of people nervous!

If you come ready to have a blast, we’re going to have a good time! And no worries, if needed, I’ll prompt you both along the way. The great thing about engagement sessions is that they also help you get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day. I can’t wait for Macey and Tyler’s October wedding at Morning Glory Farm!
