I absolutely LOVED every part of this spring wedding day with Esther and Jack!! I knew that their wedding day was going to be fabulous but I didn’t realize how much so. And, I was completely obsessed with their style, wedding decor details, florals, rainy day vibes, and beautiful historical venue of The T. Austin Finch House. They were so happy throughout the entire day even when it was raining! Seriously, no matter how we took the photos they were just ecstatic to take them – rain or shine! Beautiful & Historical Rainy Spring Wedding Day In North Carolina

It was a super rainy day, but you would literally never see it get to Esther and Jack. They were SO happy with whatever was thrown their way. We were able to get most of the portraits done outside until it started raining a little too hard for the clear umbrellas. So, we moved inside with off-camera flash!! Rain doesn’t have to ruin your wedding day or your photos!! It is so much better to just embrace it all and have fun with your loved ones and partner.

There were some really amazing parts of this spring wedding day. And, we aren’t just talking about the historical and beautiful venue – like come on! So gorgeous!! But also, her dress, the florals, the decor and more! Her dress has been by far one of my favorite dresses I have seen to date. So stunning and went with the theme of her wedding day so well. The florals were also so lively and really helped bring the dreary rainy day to life. I loved that they rented antique furniture in the library lounge. It brought the whole vibe together and completed the space! Since it was so pretty we definitely took advantage of it! To top everything else off to an incredible day, the live band was AMAZING! They reaaaallllyyyyyy brought the reception to life and the guests had so much fun with them! It was definitely a party and I loved every second of it! Capturing it was a blast too!
