Let me start by saying I met Heidi and Mark over craft beers at Kernersville Brewing Co. It was apparently the perfect setting given how much they enjoy going to breweries together. I quickly learned that Heidi and Mark are what you call a TEAM. They blend (yet stand out) so perfectly together. Their personalities made for the perfect carefree engagement session in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Remember how I said that Heidi and Mark go so perfectly together? Well, they both worked at the same place and ended up meeting while running during their lunch break! So needless to say, these two liked a lot of things in common. Overtime they spent a lot of their relationship running, backpacking, brewery hopping, grilling, and basically spending a lot of time outdoors.
Fast forward to having their first home built together and Mark tricks Heidi into thinking they need to meet the builders there one day. So of course, when they arrived, there were no builders in sight. But there were dozens of roses and champagne waiting for them inside. When Heidi turned around to ask Mark what was going on, he was down on one knee asking her to marry him. Heidi says it was one of the best moments of her life!
A longtime friend of Heidi’s owns this beautiful, nature surrounded venue in Greensboro called Four Farms Place. With them being such outdoorsy people, it was the perfect location for their engagement session. They arrived in cute and comfy clothes ready to have a fun time. Heidi also had her hair and makeup done with the prettiest braid tucked into flowing curls. After literally running around and piggy back rides, they changed into their dressier outfits and we got a little more close and romantic!
