JESSIE & EVAN’S SOUTHERN LAKESIDE WEDDING

This wedding day was full of tears, laughter, and dancing! Definitely the best combination for any wedding day. On top of all of the emotions, the weather was absolutely beautiful. We even had the best lighting for photos all day. If you are having a spring or summer wedding, this southern lakeside wedding day is full of inspiration.

About Jessie & Evan

Jessie and Evan met when two of their friends introduced them to each other. Those two friends clearly had good intuition since these two are now married! Imagine falling in love with the Western North Carolina mountains as your backdrop. Because that’s exactly where their love bloomed. Jessie says “I knew I wanted to marry Evan after just a very short time of dating him. He was just such an easy fit into my life.” Evan said his realization “hit him like a ton of bricks” when they had to move apart one summer during college.

Evan proposed to Jessie in the most inconspicuously planned beach trip. Both of their families loved spending time together, so it wasn’t weird at all when they all went to the beach. During their normal beach trip family photos, Evan dropped to one knee and proposed to Jessie. They spent the rest of the trip celebrating!

Their Southern Lakeside Wedding Day

Set at the beautiful Italian inspired villa, Bella Collina Mansion, their wedding day overlooked Belews Lake in North Carolina. Their wedding colors were soft blue and pink, and of course touches of eucalyptus. Their entire wedding crew were hype and full of positive energy. Walking in to the bridal suite just filled us with their warmth and excitement.

Jessie had touching first looks with both her father and with Evan. Some brides worry that having a first look will change that magical moment of walking down the aisle, but here is proof that it’s not the case! Once the reception hit, everyone was ready to party and enjoy the amazing day! We even got to steal away with Jessie and Evan for stunning sunset photos in front of the lake. And finally, the night ended with a fun and beautiful sparkler exit they danced all the way through!
